Q. What date did you start in the new role?
A. June 22, 2023.
Q. What is your background experience that led to this position?
A. Aside from having my bachelor’s degree in liberal studies: early childhood/childhood education, I have also had the opportunity to work with students aged 18 months to 13 years in numerous settings.
Q. What makes you excited about working in your new role at Herkimer CSD?
A. I am very excited to meet my students and have my very first classroom! I am also excited to be a part of such a great teaching team and such a great district!
Q. When did you first know you wanted become a teacher and what made you feel that way?
A. Ever since I was in elementary school, I knew I would return to the classroom as a teacher. Something about being in school and in the classroom made me feel happy, comfortable and excited, and I hope to make my students feel the same way in my classroom.
