The Middle-High School Library Media Center provides teachers and their students access to print and online resources. It also offers instruction and support for literacy, research skills and digital citizenship.

SORA eBook Library

SORA eBook Library is our district’s collection of age-appropriate digital reading materials. It includes eBooks, audiobooks and read-alongs.

The platform is free for all Herkimer CSD students and staff. Users must choose “Herkimer Central School District” from the drop-down list. They will then be prompted to sign in using their Herkimer CSD Google account.

Research Databases

These databases can be used by students doing research for class projects or papers.

  • Library Pathfinders are collections of resources specifically selected by Miss Bello and classroom teachers in order to help students complete research projects. They can also be found on our catalog page, OPALS.
  • The Search for Success database offers access to a wide variety of online resources for student research.
