DETAILS OF HOMECOMING EVENTS TAKING PLACE ON MONDAY, OCT. 21:
5:15 p.m. – Honoring of the seniors. Seniors and their families need to be in the main gym by 5 p.m. to line up. All parents, students and guests should park in the front parking lot and enter through the main entrance. Parking is not available in the back due to the bonfire area being set up.
6 p.m. – The class floats should arrive at the high school at 6 p.m. and pull into the front circle. Sports teams choosing to have a truck in the parade should park in the main parking lot as well.
6:30 p.m. – Parade begins. See the route at the bottom of this page.
Immediately following – The bonfire will take place in the back parking lot of the Middle-High School immediately following the parade.
HOMECOMING WEEK SCHEDULE WITH RESCHEDULED FOOTBALL GAME:
The updated schedule for Herkimer Homecoming Week from Oct. 20-26 is below. The varsity football game originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 25, will now be played on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
SUNDAY:
Herkfoot FLIPPED at 5 p.m.
MONDAY:
Honoring of the seniors 5:15 p.m. Parade: 6:30 p.m. Bonfire immediately after.
TUESDAY:
RAIN DATE for honoring, parade and bonfire
WEDNESDAY:
Varsity football homecoming game 7 p.m.
FRIDAY:
Pep Rally during school.
SATURDAY:
Dance at 7 p.m., court announced at 8:15 p.m.
PARADE ROUTE:
As seen below, the parade route will follow out of Herkimer Middle-High School onto Church Street, left down North Bellinger Street, left onto German Street, turn left again to go back up North Caroline Street, a right back onto Church Street and finally, back to the Herkimer Middle-High School parking lot where the bonfire will follow in the third parking lot.
