    The Please Stand Up Team in partnership with Connected Community Schools are calling for all Magicians to let their magic shine in support of the American Heart Association.   • Financial Aid Workshop scheduled for Feb. 28

    What: Maureen Seamon, the director of financial aid at Herkimer College, will be at Herkimer Jr./Sr. High School to help students and parents complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA application. ****Parents and Students should have created their FAFSA account and obtained their FSA ID before attending.     The Art Student of the Month for February is Melinda Poplawski! Melinda is in ninth grade and was chosen as Student of the Month by Mrs. Zorn because of her positive work ethic and attitude in the classroom.   • Middle School chorus students perform at Utica City Football Club match

    Members of the Herkimer Middle School chorus sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” under the direction of Madison Heuser before the Utica City Football Club match on Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.   • Utica police officer speaks to Middle School students about diversity, respect

    Utica Police Officer Wesley Jackson was a guest speaker for Herkimer Middle School students on Friday, Jan. 26, to talk about diversity and respecting one another despite differences such as race, ethnicity, height, weight and hair color.
