I would like to thank the community for supporting the school budget and education of our students in Herkimer.
Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
PTA will sponsor a “Summer Break Basket” Chance Auction June 17-21. On Friday, June 21, there will be a live drawing at 8:25 AM to declare the lucky winners!
I’d like to thank PTA for sponsoring the Spring Carnival. It was a day filled with games, food, laughter and fun. Our teachers and students are incredibly lucky to have such a supportive organization.
If you have not already done so, please consider becoming a PTA member for the 2024-2025 school year. Member forms will be available in September.
Summer Program
We are very fortunate to be able to offer Summer School, as well as Art, STEM and Drama Enrichment Programs this summer.
The programs will run Monday-Friday from July 15-August 2 with transportation provided. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided free of charge for all students.
Students have been selected by their homeroom teacher, and invitation letters have already been mailed home.

Out-Of-District
If you plan to move over the summer months and will not be attending Herkimer next year, we ask that you please notify the office as soon as possible. Also, if you are living out-of-district, please take the necessary steps to enroll your child in the district in which you reside. Herkimer Central School District does not accept out-of-district students.
